Wrapped by housemouse™ is an award-winning designer wrapping paper range which doubles as a poster art. It is proudly 100% Australian – designed in Australia by graphic design studio housemouse and hand printed in Australia using vege-based inks on recycled acid free and pH neutral paper. Three designs make up the range; titled Wrapped in Type in orange and warm black typology and Wrapped in Symbols in two variations; one in magenta and one in cyan.

Here is where graphic design meets sustainability and not surprisingly Wrapped by housemouse™ has collected a couple of awards already such as the Silver Award in the Eco-friendly Design category at the prestigious 38th Creativity Annual Awards in the US.

Prahran locals in Melbourne might also have recently spotted their visually captivating window display at hair salon Blondes2Brunettes on High Street. The housemouse team was approached by the salon to design the space and decided to create hair from the eco-friendly wrapping paper range on stark white mannequins – an afro, a Mohawk and a couture inspired flick – Think Paper. Think Hair. Think Paper Hair. This week the team will also be one of the creative powerhouses exhibiting at design:made:trade 2009 which is part of State of Design Festival, an initiative by the Victorian Government.
