Natural everyday beauty essentials
When was the last time you read the ingredients list of your personal care products? If you looked up each ingredient you would be mortified. I was. So, I begun the search for natural and organic alternatives to all the personal care products that I come in contact with on a day-to-day basis to reduce my exposure to toxic chemicals as highlighted in one of my previous features; Buyer Beware, beauty and cosmetics products labels. Here are a few of my favourite products of natural everyday essentials:
John Masters Organics Shampoo and Conditioner – made from strong and effective natural ingredients instead of the nasty chemicals found in many hair products. Designed by a hair expert, therefore has all the fabulous effects that you’d want from a shampoo and conditioner but without the health risks.
Dr Bronner Liquid Soap – a combination of organic extra virgin coconut, olive, jojoba and hemp oils, together with pure essential oils to clean skin effectively without stripping the skin of its natural oils.
Be Genki Body Oils – a combination of sweet almond, jojoba and rosehip oils with pure essential oils that provide superior beneficial properties to help keep skin soft and smooth.
Botani Healing Lip Balm – a long lasting and deeply moisturising lip balm that utilise the healing properties of natural oils only, such as Jojoba, Olive, Macadamia Seed and Evening Primrose Oils. No petroleum jelly.
Suki Tinted Active Moisturiser SPF15 – made solely with completely natural pigments and a number of organic ingredients, it’s the best organic all-natural foundation I have come across that delivers a perfect dewy finish.
