Designers for Daffodil Day fundraising
If you are still feeling a little conscious about your spending habits after the recent global financial crisis then rest assured this one goes to a good cause. As you know, Daffodil Day was this Friday and some of the countries top designers offered a hand – or should I say garment – to raise money to fight cancer.
The star-studded list of designers looks like it was stolen from Vogue’s address book. With Akira Isogawa, Arthur Galan, Camilla Franks, Bettina Liano, Rachel Gilbert, Jason Grech, and Jayson Brunsdon each donating a beautiful yellow garment for the event. Former model Gail Elliot who now owns Little Joe Women, has also got in on the yellow action by donating a boho, beautiful full sleeve dress that captures the campaign perfectly in all it’s sunshine glory.
Each garment reflects the designers signature style and is exclusive to the Designers for Daffodil Day. Just like the humble yet bright little daffodil each design reflects hope for the Cancer Council’s goodwill.

I can feel your eager little fingers over the keyboard mecho readers! All you want to know now is how to get your hands on one of these exclusive dresses, don’t you? Well, it’s going to be luck of the draw as all you need to do to go in the running to win one is jump online (which you have already done, so that’s step one out of the way) and donate or make a contribution.
There is also a chance to vote online for your favorite design – if you could possibly choose a fav! By simply voting, you go into the draw for a $1,000 Mimco voucher that is so worth the effort of having to choose just one design.
Jason Grech is winning the tally so far with his gorgeous short, lemon, bustier design and says, “We like so many people, know someone who has been touched by cancer and we’re honored to be part of an event that brings hope to the community and continues to work endlessly to make a difference.”
So get on the Daffodil Day website to view the dresses and possibly win an exclusive charity garment that you couldn’t possibly put a price tag on.
