One of Olympus two new waterproof digital cameras in their 2010 Mju Tough range – the colourful Mju Tough 3000 and top-of-the-line 8010 – might be worth considering for next adventurous travel. On an overseas press trip last year to Ratua in Vanuatu, we recall some new friends that we shall not name and shame, going overboard in their kayak. Along with them, their new digital camera tipped into the water and gone were all priceless photos taken to date.

The Olympus Mju Tough 3000 digital camera features 12 megapixels, 28mm wide angle zoom lens, HD movie recording, 1GB built-in memory plus SD card support. As stated in the name, it is quite “Tough” against the harsh outdoors; waterproof, snowproof, shockproof and shakeproof, yeah you name it!
