Originally from Germany, Michael Kai is an award-winning Melbourne based photographer. After high school he worked as a documentary photographer in former Yugoslavia immediately after the war. He then studied photography in Photo Design at the University of Dortmun, Germany and intermediately at RMIT in Melbourne, Australia. His portfolio includes artistic as well as commercial projects and his list of photography and design awards include RedDot Design Award, Arte Laguna, International Colour Award and Adobe Design Achievement Award. As you know, Daffodil Day was this Friday and some of the countries top designers offered a hand – or should I say garment – to raise money to fight cancer.

The star-studded list of designers looks like it was stolen from Vogue’s address book. With Akira Isogawa, Arthur Galan, Camilla Franks, Bettina Liano, Rachel Gilbert, Jason Grech, and Jayson Brunsdon each donating a beautiful yellow garment for the event.
