Kicking off the 2009 Snow Jam with a bang, Sydney’s hot spot Cargo Lounge will play host to MTV’s Snow Jam winter warm up party for a sneak preview of what this year’s Snow Jam has in stall. Cargo Lounge will swap its sunset views for a winter wonderland complete with snow cones, frozen Jagermeister shot glasses, grass skiing, snowboard simulator games and snow bunnies – you don’t need to make it to the snow to get your fix!

To get the party started, Australia’s hottest VJ and Network TEN’s 7pm Project presenter, the irreverent Ruby Rose will be spinning the decks along with hip hop star, Illy and Sydney’s house favourite, DJ Ritty. If you didn’t make the snow this season, it’s not too late! MTV are offering some amazing prizes on the night that can help you get there. Try your luck on the Snowboarding simulator and battle it out for the highest score for a chance to win some super prizes.

Jagermeister will be giving away a wicked snow pack valued at $750, Burton Snowboards are offering one talented player a cracking Pro Snowboard to get you carving up the half pipes and if that doesn’t get you in a 360̊, Cargo Lounge is offering one lucky person a double pass return ticket to New Zealand to show off their snowboarding skills!
