Sunday Best is the next single taken from Washington’s stunning debut album, I Believe You Liar. It is a story about lust and breaking up, of which Meg says: “it just basically sounds like ” ‘I wanna have sex with you’ which is, really, what it’s about”. I believe You Liar, is inspired by childhood, mortality, dispassionate love and the unconscious and Sunday Best is another snapshot of these social and emotional contradictions.
