Spark Lamp

The Spark Lamp concept is a simple and stylish solution to sustainable living by US-based Industrial Designer, Beverly Ng. Flip the lamp upside down next to the window to recharge via solar energy panels and then use it at night!

It’s a perfect response to the initiative by the Swedish government of helping consumers monitor their energy consumption in future homes via the Internet. When switched upright, it establishes a Wi-Fi connection to the Internet and displays your home’s energy consumption by giving a soft green, yellow, or reddish glow for around three seconds. After a moment of eco-illumination, the light then turns white and works just like a regular lamp.
