We were thrilled to find out that the traditional Swedish Skeppshult bikes are being sold in Australia. We have an in-house fan of their classic models but it is also refreshing to discover their recent innovations such as the V Bike.

Designer Björn Dahlström wanted to create a bicycle that he could ride from his home to his office in inner city Stockholm but also be able to use it throughout the day. The ability to be able to carry various shaped objects easily was a high priority as well as convenience and easy use. The V Bike is the result – a fun and very functional everyday city vehicle. Pick your favourite colour and further customise to suit your own lifestyle needs by adding or removing baskets and optional features.

It features lockable pod, hand-welded steel frame, front and rear racks with the basket being easily added or removed. The wheelbase is similar to other Skeppshult models but with smaller wheels and the clever design allows for high manoeuvrability at low speeds as well as faster speeds with 3 speed Shimano gear. Go green and use peddle power next time you head out!
