Puma Fuse Project: Bye bye shoebox, Hello clever little bag
We must say that we hate shoe boxes and are embracing the new idea from Yves Behar/Fuse Project and Puma; ‘Bye bye shoebox, Hello clever little bag’. The project rethinks the idea of the shoebox of how to fold, ship and reduce their environmental impact. Yeah, get rid of the box and replace it with a clever little bag!
Made up of a cardboard sheet and a recyclable non-woven bag, it immediately reduce the standard amount of cardboard use for a standard shoe box by 65% and minimise production with stitching completed through heat. Since the new design solution has no laminated printing or tissue paper, it takes up less space and weight in shipping plus replacing the additional plastic retail bag completely. Seeing a world brand taking the lead on this sustainable initiative, we hope it will contribute to a positive impact on big scale and help lecture up all bad boys to follow suit.

I’ve always found shoe boxes to be a waste and sometimes unnecessary to have. This is a great idea and perfect seeing as it can be used over and over again.
