Monopoly Revolution
Hasbro’s family classic board game, Monopoly is being re-designed to celebrate its 75th anniversary. Monopoly Revolution features a round circular board with no more paper bills or cards. Players will keep track of their million dollars via an electronic banking game device which also doubles as a dice and music player.
The device will also play hit songs from five decades including Umbrella, Bad Day and Drive My Car as well as sound effects throughout the game. Electronic Chance and community chest replace cards. Even the metal charm markers have gone missing! Players now collect a whopping $2 Million when passing “GO” instead of $200 as property prices have gone up over the years.
Guess 75 years down the track some changes were doomed to happen although we think many players will miss a bit of the charm and cheeky fun like fanning out paper cash bills, throwing bills in the air, stealing and cheating just like any ol’ property tycoon.
Call us nostalgic or old school but we will probably still prefer the classic Monopoly version on a rainy day. Monopoly Revolution edition… Love it or hate it?

I LOVE it! I think everything should have a style overhaul every few years. If you like the old one, then play that!
