The theme for Tokyo Designers Week 2008 (30 Oct – 3 Nov) was “Love” which included collaboration between different genres such as “design x music” and “art x design”.

You could tell that the all creations from over 500 exhibitors was made out of love and so easy to fall passionately in love with! mecho was excited to attend a couple of key events in the heart of Tokyo.

100% Design was established in London 1995, growing from a small marquee on Kings Road to become the world’s most influential contemporary interiors event, attracting the attention of the press, encouraging product innovation, hot-housing new design stars and educating consumers by bringing contemporary design to the mainstream.

100% Design Tokyo made its sensational debut in 2005 and has already established itself as Japan’s premier contemporary interiors event by receiving an overwhelming response from the global and local design community.
