Uros Vitas is a socially and sustainability focused designer based in Belgrade, Serbia, currently undertaking Graduate Degree in Furniture and Interior Design at the University of Belgrade’s Wood Processing & Furniture Design Department.

One of his ingenious furniture design concepts to keep an eye out for is Miesrolo Foldable Wooden Chair, you wouldn’t have seen anything like this yet! Just roll it up the chair when not in use.

The wood panels are connected by synthetic band Work and the design concept has already scored many awards in Belgrade; 1st place on Wood Agency Design Contest Belgrade 2008, University of Belgrade’s Award for Best Scientific-Professional Work in 2006/07, Golden Key Awards (sitting furniture and innovative concept) at Belgrade International Furniture Fair 2006 / 2007, ULUPUDS diploma 2007.
