Think Bonsai, think Tamagaochi pet, think Domsai! This is a cute product to keep a cactus on your desk designed by Matteo Cibic and produced by Monotono with craftsmanship in Nove, Italy. Each Domsai has its own personality as each cactus has its own blown and tailor-made dome that differentiates it from the others. The cactus sits under the bell jar with legs in ceramic. Domsai has slits on the back in order to allow ventilation inside capsule and needs few drops of water every week.

It is recommended to not to put Domsai under direct sunlight which makes it great as an office desk plant. The growth rate depends on water, humidity and sunlight: each plant has different growth rate. The cactus should reach its maximum growth to stay comfortably inside the capsule up to two years.

Matteo Cibic loves to invent new products by working with craftsmen that are interested in experimenting with different materials and production techniques. His creative process is often sparked by basic things from the subject, the materials, his knowledge and study of production mechanisms to help search for new technical solutions and working techniques. One of the outstanding aspects of Matteo’s products is that they often hide unexpected functions, creating an interaction with the user.
