Danish Bang & Olufsen cordless designer telephone BeoCom2 is made from a single piece of aluminium using a hydro-forming technique. The one-piece phone handset is designed to sit naturally in the hand with an exceptional balance and in a curved shape for the human face. The aluminium shell is available in a selection of anodized colours and unique ring tones. For some reason, the shape of the phone provoke some nostalgia and remind us of a hi-tech and slim modern take on The Cobra or Scandiphone, a classic Swedish retro cool phone from the 1950s.

Apart from stylish and sleek design, Bang & Olufsen is renowned for superb sound quality and the telephone system has authentic voice reproduction for natural sound. The speakers recreate every nuance in the voice of the person you are speaking with. To eliminate background disturbances, you can also control the sound volume on Bang & Olufsen products from the telephone. Unfortunately, it cannot turn down the volume of people, your barking dog or other noise…

BeoCom 2 can be used as part of a cordless phone system that can contain up to eight individual BeoCom 2 or BeoCom 6000 handsets from a single telephone socket. Not sure why you would need that many for your home phone system but we actually think it would be great for a small funky office space. You can add chargers and handsets as needed in an internal telephone system, combining two very distinct and exclusive cordless concepts, and offering easy transfer of external calls and free internal calls between handsets.

Other features include caller ID, redial with access to the latest 24 incoming and outgoing calls plus an electronic phonebook shared among connected handsets. The phonebook is created automatically as calls are made and received, and can hold up to 200 name and number entries. Similar to mobile phones, you can simply save the number for the person you’ve spoken to, every time you end a call.
