Virgin Active Health Club Sydney opened
Wow, everything seems to be happening down at Pitt Street in Sydney this week. Yesterday, Westfield opened and today, the CBD’s first Virgin Active Health Club has officially opened its doors at MidCity.
In the lead up, we have been intrigued by their previous stunt of sleep pods on Martin’s Place, and yesterday, Justice Crew (the winners of Australia’s Got Talent 2010) provided some entertainment and a sneak preview to celebrate the launch of Richard Branson’s new health club. These boys surely got talent and looks like they don’t have to sweat it out in front of the windows of the Sydney Entertainment Centre anymore, in lieu of the financial capacity to hire a studio.
The club takes up 5,000 square metres space, which stretches from Pitt Street to George Street across two levels and boasts an indoor rock climbing wall, a 25 metre swimming pool, body+mind studios, relaxation spa and sauna, internet cafe and a sleep pod area for a quick daytime nap.
