Nintendo DSi, touch + hear + now sight
Nintendo has upgraded its popular DS portable video games console, laughing all the way to the bank Nintendo has sold close to 100 million units worldwide! The new Nintendo DSi features two 0.3 megapixel cameras,3.25 inch dual touch screens which is 17% larger than DS Lite, slimmer body design with improved processor and speakers.
Nintendo DSi was designed to stimulate your senses during game play, in addition to the dual screen for touch, microphone/speakers for hearing, the experience is further improved with dual cameras for sight. The cameras allows you to capture, view and exchange photos. Fun features include 11 different types of lens effects to edit, morph and distort your photos. DSi now features a music player that allows you to store and play mp3 files from SD memory cards. You can control speed, pitch, edit tracks and create new sounds using the microphone.
Connect to the internet by wifi and surf with the built-in web browser. Following Apple’s lead with online content distribution, Nintendo’s DSi shop allows you to purchase and download new games/applications using Nintendo points cards. No more waiting months for new release games, more environmentally friendly and bypassing long queues with screaming kids are some of the advantages of digital distribution.
Nintendo DSi has ticked off 3 of the 5 human senses; touch, hearing and now sight, we look forward to the next generation consoles which hopefully covers off smell and taste. Available from 2 April in matte finish, black or white colour.

Update: Nintendo Japan just announced 3 extra colours to their Nintendo DSi range; Pink, lime green and navy blue.
Why do we Aussies only get vanilla flavours?
