Nintendo’s answer to The Sims game is Animal Crossing Wii. The video game is clearly targeting females with the smiling women appearing in their cheesy TV ads. Well, we must say it is a cute social simulator game with online communications.

The game is bundled with hands-free Wii Speak microphone, but you will need broadband and Wi-Fi connection to get the most of this game. The game does look kiddy but is actually quite complicated, just like real life. You can chat and play with up to 4 real friends online, go shopping, visit friends’ towns, go to auctions, watch concerts, give your Mii a makeover, hop on the bus and you can even interior decorate your house.

Other unique features of Animal Crossing Wii include a live calendar,  so you can go trick–or-treating during October, play practical jokes on April Fool’s Day or hunt for eggs during Easter. Wii Speak also allows you to use your Mii character to chat, lip-synching while you chat on the TV screen. Leave audio messages for your friends or narrate captions for your photos.

Oh, all this cuteness is making us feel nauseous….
