Created by innovative Art Director and Designer Artemy Lebedev, the new innovative Optimus Tactus keyboard concept doesn’t have physical keys but something much more awesome. The fully customisable surface can be programmed to perform pretty much any function and layout; from creating individual or icon displaying hot keys to showing full blown videos!

The Optimus Tactus touch screen can also be set up to display a completely unique layout for every application you use – great for gamers, artists, designers; well, actually anyone who even half uses a computer.

Although physically it is still a prototype, Lebedev’s previous keyboard design, the Optimus Maximus with fixed programmable OLED buttons, is now shipping. Guess it shouldn’t be too long until we see this super shiny piece of future available for sale. I would want one of these for Christmas, please!
