Apple has announced new updates to their iPod range, the pocket size iPod nano 5g key new feature is a video camera which shoots standard definition video at 30 frames per second with sound. Fun special effects can be added such as x-ray, sepia, film grain or motion blur. New internal speakers allows you to share music or videos without your earphones.

Other new nano features include a larger 2.2inch screen, glossy aluminium finish, voice recorder and FM radio with live pause. Runners and fitness types will be happy to heard it also sports a pedometer which keeps track of your steps and calories burned. Available in 8GB and 16GB

The 3rd generation iPod Touch has storage space bumped up to 32GB and 64GB plus improved graphics performance for gaming. Oh yes, both the Touch and nano still play music, videos and pictures! However, we were disappointed why Apple did not include video camera on the iPod Touch. Maybe next time?
