Lomography Diana Mini camera

We are trying to keep our heads above water with all fabulous inspiration of photo galleries, stories and how-to-tips with endless creative possibilities from The Lomography Society. Our Creator & Editor-in-Chief recently purchased a Lomography Fish Eye 2 camera and is stoked over the new release of Lomography Mini Diana camera, the petite sister of Diana F+ which brings the magic back to life!

Fashionable in the 1960s, handy-sized half-frame cameras soon lost popularity as other 35mm cameras became more compact. The ability to squeeze 72 shots onto one roll of 35mm film was eventually lost but has now resurrected, and it doesn’t stop there – in an instant you can switch to another very rare format: square on 35mm. With the flick of a little switch you can move from the retro square format to the Half-Frame, giving you the ability to Shoot Forever, packing 72 shots onto one 35mm film. Additionally, Diana Mini weighs only 235g and fits into the tiniest pocket without the flash.

All the features of multiple frame formats, multi and long time exposures, overlapping images, and cable release compatibility are indeed inspiring. We love the fact that the click of the shutter, captures a moment – a soft, blurry and dreamy-toned image – unique and fairly unpredictable with a small narrative which begins to reveal itself.
