Google Nexus One mobile phone
Google’s aim to take over the world is another step closer with Google Nexus One, the latest touch screen mobile phone.
They call it a ‘superphone’ as its runs on Android 2.1 operating system and features five homescreen panels, interactive widgets and live wallpapers. If you get sick of typing text, you can use voice-enabled controls.
The Google Nexus One smartphone features noise-canceling for clearer chat conversations, 5-megapixel camera with led flash and internet wi-fi connectivity. You will be able to surf the web, play video games and use Google’s range of apps including Google Earth and GPS navigation on the Nexus One. With the 3D photo gallery, just tap and zoom in or out of photo album galleries which are synced to Picasa.
Google Nexus One trumps the iPhone in some areas such as large 3.7 inch touch screen, slimmer body, exchangeable battery and ability to add apps via memory card. At this stage, the Nexus One looks promising however it doesn’t have a multi-touch screen and it can’t compete against iPhone’s huge library of over 100,000 apps.
Available today in the US, and will be shipping to test markets: UK, Singapore and Hong Kong but no word of when it will reach Australia yet.

Nice one, Jeff! Perhaps you can give us a verdict of your hands-on experience later. FYI: we just added the official video as well in this post. Enjoy

It looks so good! Aparantly they’ve fixed all the iPhone problems, and made the interface a little less sexy, but a whole lot more useable and adaptable with themes, colours etc.
