Dell is not renowned for stylish computers but they wish to change this perception with the recent release of new luxury notebook brand called Adamo. We personally think it will take more than one product with a fancy Latin word “to fall in love” to change the way consumers think about Dell’s no-frill computer products but it’s nice to see something fresh from them.

Currently, Dell Adamo is the world’s slimmest notebook at 0.65 inch focused on external design and attention to details similar to market leading Apple Macbook Air. The unibody construction in the choices of etching silver aluminium and pearl finish or onyx aluminium with brushed finish, features 13.4 inch wide screen HD edge-to-edge glass display. The 2kg laptop has backlit keyboard, solid state drive (SSD), Intel Core 2 Duo Centrino processor, wireless N, Bluetooth 2.1 and 5 hours battery life.

Even the print ads were given some extra class, featuring models and shot by British photographer Nadav Kander. Dell Adamo comes packaged in a transparent case as well as optional matching sleeves and carry totes made by luxury travel accessories brand, Tumi. It will be interesting to see the market feedback on Adamo by Dell and what other future product releases.
