The new 2009 range of Apple iMac is designed to reduce its environmental impact with arsenic-free display glass, BFR-free internal components, PVC-free internal cables, recyclable aluminium and glass enclosure. As the greenest Mac ever, it meets energy rating of 5.0 requirements and EPEAT Gold rating which is based on how recyclable it is, how much energy it uses plus how it is designed and manufactured.

Although we are not loyal Mac-users ourselves, we love the design and happy to know Apple iMac users are doing their little part for the environment. Oh, if you ever decide to recycle your Apple iMac one day, we’ll be happy to save it from the recycle bin!
