On a gloomy Monday, we received an intro to the new Absolut Carafe Collective with recipes said to be easy to mix and share with 4 people. Waiting for the perfect opportunity to get ourselves a taste of summer, we are now thinking of a sneaky start of the weekend with the sun finally out. Top up anyone?

The Absolut Carafe Collective is made up of eight refreshing recipes, showcasing five of their most popular varieties – Citron, Pears, Apeach, Raspberri and Berri Acai. The cocktails are not only pretty to the eye but seem to suit a lot of different tastes with exotic combinations and new twists on some classics such as Sangria and Bloody Mary. While there’s nothing out of the ordinary about the plastic carafe design which we wish came in glass, it does comes with a handy QR code on the back to scan for the recipes with your phone.

Absolut South Side
Original vodka with a touch of Elderflower Cordial, fresh Lemon Juice, Soda Water and a selection of seasonal fruits with fresh wild mint.

Absolut Iced Tea
Citron vodka kissed with sweet Limoncello intertwined with Iced Tea and citrus fruits.

Absolut Berri Good Times
Berri Acai vodka spun with lashings of Red Wine, Ginger Ale, Orange and Cranberry Juice sprinkled with blueberries.

Absolut Pish Posh
Pears vodka mixed with Chamomile Syrup, fresh mint & lemons topped with Cloudy Apple Juice.

Absolut Ripple
Raspberri vodka charged with Ginger Beer, limes & berries.

Absolut Midnight Sun
Apeach vodka and Malibu, topped with a mixture of fresh Orange and Cranberry Juice.

Absolut Bloody
Original or Absolut 100 mixed with Tabasco, Salt, Pepper, Lemon Juice, Worcestershire Sauce and Tomato Juice.
