Zeta Bar 5th Birthday Party, Hilton Sydney
Sydney’s Zeta Bar was launched as part of The Hilton in 2005 and last night, a beach chic crowd in resort attire was celebrating its 5th birthday party in a lovely creative space.
Launched as an opulent oasis in the heart of the city, filled with purple hues and dark wood tones with a rooftop terrace with views across the CBD, I always enjoy Zeta’s views of especially the historical Queen Victoria Building (QVB) on opposite side of the busy George Street spanning below towards The Sydney Harbour. An oak wood island bar runs the length of the main room in a deep red and purple glow from huge glass lamps. In the lounge, there is an array of plush leather ottomans and dark timber tub chairs centered around a stylish oversized fireplace which burns with sparkling glass rocks.
For the special occasion, the celebrated nightspot was outfitted with beautiful sea shells and strip of sandy beach ran along the bar with promo boys and girls handing out buckets of Belvedere in the “beach chic” theme. While making new friends at the bar (just like on holiday), we enjoyed Pink Grapefruit and Ginger Cosmopolitans, Beach-Side Punches, Chandon Fairy Floss and Cider Toffee Apples among other fingerfood… and eye candy… mmmm… Zeta Bar was surely living up to its self-proclaimed name as “Sydney’s sexiest nightspot”.
