Singita Luxury African Game Reserve
Singita meaning place of miracles, is a group of world-renowned games reserves in Africa with locations in South Africa, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe. One of their luxury resorts was awarded Best Luxury Resort Hotel in Africa/Indian Ocean 2008 in the inaugural Luxury Travel Advisor Awards of Excellence.
Surely I have dreamt about an African Safari off the beaten tracks in tents and primitive living but we must admit that in recent years I have started to opt for more comfort and indulgence in our travels. Imagine waking up to this amazing setting on a thrilling holiday with your best friends in the world. The unique interior with modern sustainable furniture blends nicely with the beautiful outdoor and the breathtaking views.
Singita is situated along the Western corridor of the Serengeti, this is said to be one of Africa’s most pristine wilderness areas, and scene of Africa’s annual wildebeest migration. I can understand why they decided to name it Singita. Anyone else out there dreaming of a luxury African Safari?

I’m currently planning a camping trip to Africa, for 2010. Maybe I should add this ‘camp site’ to my list:) If you’re gonna do it, do it right!
