At the recent Tokyo Motor Show 2009, Honda unveiled an electric version of its Super Cub motorcycle. The concept design is said to be as functional and convenient as the existing fuel-running brother. Time will tell if this is just a brave statement. We sure hope the electric vehicle industry is speeding up and who better to lead the pack than Honda – the world’s best-selling motorcycle of all time with over 60 million motorbikes sold to date!

If eco-friendly motorcycles reach a mass market, a low price can be assured which is a win-win for everyone and the environment. We will be looking forward to more details of the sleek concept of Honda EV-Super Cub including an update of the original design from 1958.
