Chanel Fiole concept car

During the 80s and 90s, Japan used to be the dominant powerhouse of new technology in the East but in recent decade, we discovered a lot of creativity and innovation in Asia coming from South Korea. Think consumer and home technology within mobile, audio, TV, white goods to cars, fashion and beauty. Sometimes a combination of different genres also seems to be the driving inspiration source for new product concepts.

Jinyoung Jo is a car designer at Hong-ik University in South Korea and we had a peek at her Chanel Fiole concept car. As with classic Coco Chanel work, the design of the car is centred on simplicity of lines plus black and white. As with most concepts, there is also an emphasis on airflow. The fashion car seats three, two abreast and one staggered in between… well, we wonder if this sleek car one day becomes reality? Anything seems possible…
