Andy Warhol Treasures

One of the world’s best-known artists, Andy Warhol (1928-1987) is still influential on contemporary art and pop culture. Packed with information about Warhol’s creativity and other cultural interests, the Andy Warhol Treasures by Matt Wrbican and Geralyn Huxley, follows the arc of his life. This beautifully illustrated publication reveals Warhol’s rags-to-riches life from his early years in Depression-era Pittsburgh to his success as an illustrator in New York City in the 1950s and his transformation into a notorious pop artist, underground filmmaker, author, publisher, collector, recorder and iconic celebrity.

A very unique celebration to the modern artist with over 20 removable facsimile documents from his personal archive or “Time Capsule boxes” to help give insights into Warhol’s life and work.

Published in conjunction with the Warhol Foundation in New York and the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Warhol’s birth.

Flicking through this beautiful hardback book, we feel privileged to be exposed to such beautiful artwork of illustrations, stencils, images and posters along with the personal stories and photos. It will definitely keep us entertained on rainy days or cold nights this winter. It also makes a great coffee table book or gift for pop art loving friends. Andy Warhol Treasures will be available in June.
