Photos Casio G-SHOCK: Shock The World Tour Sydney
Last night, Sydney welcomed the celebration of the evolution of the iconic G-SHOCK watch with Casio G-SHOCK: Shock The World Tour Sydney. The Japanese electronics giant iconic watch included a special guest appearance by the man who designed the very first G-SHOCK watch, Japanese engineer and ‘Father of G-SHOCK’ Kikuo Ibe. View some of our photos from the night which saw the G-SHOCK put into extreme tests from being thrown onto hard surfaces to carved out from ice blocks and many of the guests were pleased to leave the party with a new watch on their arm-wrists.
The Sydney event was hosted by Jonathan Pease (Style Director – Australia’s Next Top Model) plus a live DJ set from Australian DMC champion DJ Dexter, Sydney girls Hoops DJs and Melbourne’s M.A.F.I.A – they all have been involved in creating some collaborative custom designs which were showcased along with the wide G-SHOCK range.

Watch out for Nina Las Vegas from Hoops DJ when we put more limelight on her as a mecho guest blogger next month.

In the meantime, we also pinned down a Q&A with Jonathan Pease, who unfortunately is not able to actively respond to further questions in a guest blog.
