mecho has been invited to an exclusive hands-on preview of the new Philips SensoTouch 3D electric shaver for men. We must agree that this is one smooth operator, making shaving facial hair an enjoyable experience not a chore.

The product design is one of the most futuristic mens shavers we have seen to date. Built like a quality Swiss watch or a cool James Bond gadget, it oozes class and quality. The shaver feels solid in the palm of your hand, the smooth full metal body has an ergonomic grip and an inviting touch screen control with LED displaying minutes left on the battery. Nice one!.

Men who multi-task will be happy to know the Philips SensoTouch 3D shaver can be used on either dry or wet skin. The cordless and waterproof sealed tight allows you to use it with shaving gel if you prefer or even bring it into the shower for a spin. The advance GyroFlex 3d track heads follows your face contours for a closer shave with lift and cut action. Slide the pop-up trimmer for beards and sideburns.

The premium bundles also include the Philips Jet Clean+ system dock which cleans, recharges battery and keeps the shaver blades lubricated with three cleaning settings: automatic, intensive or low-energy. The only product feedback for improvement we can think of is perhaps providing different speed settings as it currently only has one option. Available in four models from late July 2010.
