The new face for Chanel No. 5 is the lovely French actress, Audrey Tatou. The new worldwide campaign short film titled “Train de Nuit” was directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet who also has directed films such as A Very Long Engagement and our all time favourite Amelie.

The film is a tale of chance and fate, a brief encounter between a man and a woman travelling to Istanbul on the Orient Express night train with an intertwining of two destinies that will be brought together by a scent like no other. Today is May 5th and even New York City has declared today as Chanel No.5 Day with Saks Fifth Avenue.

Chanel No. 5 is one of the world’s most famous womens fragrances since 1921. Coco Chanel’s very modern fashion philosophy reflects Chanel No 5 as a rich modern floral blend of Grasse Jasmine, May Rose, Neroli, Bourbon Vanilla and Ylang-Ylang with gentle precious woods. Well, we fancy the classic bottle shape but one of our team members thinks it smells like cat pee… Love it or hate it?
