Twenty8Twelve by Sienna and Savannah Miller

Sienna Miller is known for her many roles in movies such as Alfie, Factory Girl and The Edge of Love. However, there is more to this woman than meets the eye! Not only is she a fabulous actress, model and managed to score the hunky Jude Law as her fiancé, she is also a very creative fashion designer! Along with her gorgeous and very talented designer sister Savannah Miller, the two created the label Twenty8Twelve, a mixture of style, individuality, chic and edge.

Twenty8Twelve is said to have begun in amongst the fashion and dress up shows of Sienna and Savannah’s childhood. Growing up as fashionistas, the two were bound for bigger things and they did just that! Between the sister’s fabulous sense of style and creativity, the concept of twenty8twelve grew. When they were approached by Spanish entrepreneur, Carlos Ortega to turn their dream in to reality, they say ‘it felt like a logical and organic step to take’ and Twenty8Twelve was created, and thus a fabulous range of collections were born. Twenty8Twelve never follows the trends but continues to set them with every unique, chic and whimsical collection. The latest Autumn Winter 2010/11 collection is no exception – displayed in London’s Fashion week earlier this year, the girls have released a preview of their latest Lookbook.

Inspired by the 1980s underground club culture, the collection use of vibrant colours, strategically matched with metallic shades, made for a quirky and brilliant combination. The right dose of velvet achieved the perfect rock star pant suit. Paired with a gold threaded shirt and a striking necklace, Twenty8Twelve’s AW 2010/11 takes rock chick to a whole different level. Reminiscent of the 2009 collection, a range of cut of denim shorts over black tights featured throughout the collection. Cleverly matched with oversized knits and acid washed denim, the designers channel the 80’s successfully.

For a more casual look, the collection combines the use of long ethereal Boho dresses and playful crochet pieces, with military style trench coats, hooded and draped, achieving a sense of adventure and edge! The collection also featured plaid high waisted pants, cobalt blue minis and the classic little black dress! Matched with sky high leather ankle boots each outfit embodied all that is Twenty8Twelve: Style, quality, individuality, uniqueness, chic and edge! Once again, the Miller girls continue to inspire and set new trends!

Here we take a look at the behind the scenes making of the Autumn Winter Lookbook 2010/11. The shoot is just as rock star and creative as the collection on the runway, and I look forward to seeing it posted on Twenty8Twelve’s Lookbook in the coming months! In the mean time, check out the latest looks from the fabulous Miller sisters! Class dismissed. //MissT
