Fashion Week by Berns, aka Stockholm Fashion Week 2009
The fashion world is continuously evolving in many beautiful cities like Florence, Milan, New York, Tokyo, Barcelona, Paris… and the most recent was Stockholm Fashion Week, now re-named Fashion Week by Berns (26-28 Jan 2009). The fashion event at this exquisite venue just ended and if you missed out, check out some snapshot images from the catwalks.
“In removing the localised prefix ‘Sthlm’ (Stockholm) from the name, Berns can now eliminate confusion amidst the various projects supporting Swedish fashion while distinguishing the Berns catwalk as a platform that showcases Scandinavian and Danish brands in the more global sense…. The future looks bright” says Yvonne Sörensen-Björud, CEO at Berns Salonger.
We look forward to keep close eyes on Swedish brands such as Sofifi, House of Dagmar, Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair, Tiger, Hope plus Cheap Monday jeans which showcased new innovative collections.

Sweden may be cold but what comes out of that country looks hot!!! I like how street and preppy look combined in layers and there seems to be no rules, it just feels right. When the weather gets more chilly, I easy picture myself dressed in Cheap Monday Jeans, 5th Ave Shoe Repair and in the company of those Swedish models.. um ok that last bit might not happen. LOL

im a lame gossip girl fan but is it just me or does the tiger of sweden model on image 4 on page 2 look like dan humphrey? the white tiger suit jacket on the image after also reminds of something possibly worn by chuck bass the bad ass.. mmmm ooh yeah! im sold!
