Lucette Russian Princess Autumn Winter Collection 2009
Taken from the Spanish word ‘Luce’ meaning ‘to shine’, Lucette works to enhance a wardrobe with colour and detail while maintaining a modern relaxed style, says the Australian designer duo Angela Backshell and Tracy Miller.
Lucette the new women’s fashion label was launched last year and their first range, including dresses, blouses, skirts, ruffle tops, coats, knits, cardigans, pants and jackets, was released nationwide. This season’s theme was Russian inspired, we see the use of original, exclusive prints, silk fabrics and embellished detailing, feathers, leather, beads and embellished silk – an eclectic yet glamorous bohemian style combining soft feminine and rock romance with hard-edged pieces.
