Hannah MacLeod SS0910 Collection
Sydney-based designer Hannah MacLeod and a previous mecho guest blogger brings us her new Spring/Summer 2009-10 fashion collection. The collection comprises of both women’s luxury fashion pieces and a selection of basics in cleverly designed silhouettes, inspired by the 60’s and 70’s screen siren Jean Seberg. It is Seberg’s classically cool attitude, pixie panache blonde hair and love for French cinema that has played muse to Hannah MacLeod this season.
Having studied abroad at the renowned Paris Fashion Institute, Hannah combines a touch of French flair to effortless Sydney chic for her self-titled label. Her design philosophy is inspired by a blend of modern meets vintage motifs, focusing on classic shape with contemporary detailing.
The Australian manufactured collection represents simplicity while maintaining a strong identity that will evolve from season to season. From slouchy tees and lace high-waist shorts to silk dresses with muslin flounces & skirts featuring raw-cut silk organza, this collection will have you creatively covered all summer long.
Hannah MacLeod SS0910 collection is available in store from September 2009 filled with inspiration appropriately in time for both fancy Spring Racing events and to casual Summer days.
