Finnish Marimekko has resurfaced on our radar with their bag collection for Spring/Summer 2010. It is a pretty extensive range including shoulder bags, totes, hand bags, clutches, purses and umbrellas in their signature bold print style.

The collection is as usual a colourful burst of colours and a mini version of the popular Hobo shoulder bag has been added to the range.

Whilst we are still hesitant about Marimekko’s clothing, we always love their curtains and textiles for interior decoration, and think accessorising with their cute clutches or funky tote bags would be the closest thing we would be of wearing their designs. Enjoy the photos.

You will be able to see the unique patterns of the Rinne Niinikoski duo on clothing and interior decoration as well as canvas and leather bags. The prints in Mika Piirainen’s Spring collection include Pentti Rinta´s water-inspired Lirinä and Lorina and Kaarina Kellomäki´s expressive graphical Keisarin puutarhassa.
