Bombastic Plastix team Dave, Sam and Illu are three friends who collects trash, wash it and heat press it into funky wallets, purses and bags. They are not part of any International Fair Trade organisation with a stamp of “No plastic bags were mistreated in the development of these products”. They are just a small group of people from different corners of the globe, making a difference from cleaning up a small part of the planet. It’s great to realise that every shopping bag, handbag or wallet takes 10 or more plastic products out of the environment and is turned into something useful again.

Bombastic Plastix is all about fashion and reducing the growing problem of plastic shopping bags littering the streets, beaches and rivers of Indonesia. Their products have just arrived in Australia and selling from just a few stores in Melbourne, introducing dozens of designs shortly. We like their statement in the name of fashion, “We don’t just talk trash, we make stuff out of them”
