Júzcar – The Smurfs Village, Spain

When the Spanish village Júzcar got re-painted blue to promote The Smurfs 3-D movie, the intention was that it would return to white after the PR stunt. However, it looks like the blue may stay and becoming a popular travel destination. (more…)

Tokyo Rising by Palladium

Palladium has taken their boots to the streets of Tokyo for urban exploration in light of the Japan Tsunami earthquakes of 3 March 2011. In this trailer, Pharrell Williams explores Tokyo, and how it has been dealing with the aftermath of the catastrophy as an inspiring city. While we are not sure if this type of coverage helps them sell more Palladium boots or Pharrell Williams music, the videos within the series present interesting story telling and hopefully supporting Japan – the Land of the Rising Sun. SAS TimeKiller app

It has been a while since we travelled with Scandinavian Airlines and we don’t have much sexy to say about this airline however they were Europe’s most punctual airline 2009 and 2010 according to FlightStats. For people travelling with competitors, SAS has developed the free TimeKiller app that contains four somehwhat pointless yet hilarious games perfect for killing time when waiting for a delayed flight.
