Amazon has announced its latest tablet with the top model of Kindle Fire which features a sharp 7 inch multi-touch screen with 8Gb storage plus cloud storage. It weighs 413 grams and battery lasts about 8 hours.

The Amazon Kindle Fire allows you to enjoy magazines, books, songs, movies, TV shows, apps, play games plus browse the web and emails. What we don’t like is the WiFi only feature which means you can’t access the Android Market app store. But hey, keep in mind this is at less than half the price of an iPad 2!

Amazon budget ebook range also been updated with the 6″ inch Kindle and Kindle Touch. They both feature e-ink which is easy on the eyes.
