Duran Duran is a sure given on summer roadtrips with their pop tunes surviving decades of re-play. Now comes their latest new single Girl Panic with of course synths and supermodels as entourage – they claim to be the first to ever have used models in their videos. The original supermodels – Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Eva Herzigova, Yasmin LeBon and Helena Christensen – are probably as old as the band and star in the below film clip director by legandary Jonas Åkerlund. The twist: Rather than starring themselves, they play the parts of the band members – singing, doing controversial interviews and acting very rock ‘n’ roll.
