Japan seems be undergoing a cultural re-appreciation and pride with for example stunning Japanese models promoting Shiseido’s new Tsubaki hair product line with the direct slogan “Japanese women are beautiful” instead of using Western celebrities as featured on Lux ads.
In the fashionable cities of Tokyo and Osaka you will still find brown hair dye, fake extended eye lashes, eye widening surgeries, ugg boots, skyrocketing high heels and quasi English pasted everywhere to assimilate to the Western world. It is however still not surprising why in the (more…)
